OpenDNS - content filtering

OpenDNS is a perfect solution for people who either do not have the time or knowledge to create and manage a server completely out of content filtering. OpenDNS replaces your DNS server and allows you to filter the output of each connection of your home if you change the DNS settings on the router level. Whether someone is on your desktop or a wireless connection through a laptop, everything is filtered by OpenDNS. You can create custom filters to the whitelist and blacklist specific sites and to customize the range of filters that you provide. If you plan to use OpenDNS as a filter for your home, consult our previous article on the subject.
