Collecta

Collecta API is a simple API that returns 15 results from each search query, with a limit of 5,000 queries per hour. Includes latest releases, news articles, reviews, photos (Flickr, web and yFrog) and videos (YouTube and Ustream). The API does not include the results of Twitter, but this is what dominates Collecta own search engine real time. Chief Executive Officer Gerry Campbell said that since Twitter has its own search APIs, developers are better to go directly to the source. However, it provides an API that provides all the results in real time on a single call would be preferable. OneRiot API, for example, include the results are less influenced by Twitter, but do not include results from Twitter themselves.

Great Windows Software Utilities.
